The List

This list of commonly banned and challenged books is by no means exhaustive, but has been compiled from multiple sources (including the American Library Association and the Radcliffe Publishing Course). If you know another banned or challenged book that isn’t already on this list, please make a comment with the title and author! Despite having read a handful of these books already, I’m giving each book a fresh look and will attempt to (eventually) read all of them (even if it’s for the second… or third… or fourth time).

One thought on “The List

  1. I love EVERYTHING about this list, and this blog, and your goals. I am so excited to follow along as you review these books. Many of the titles here are books that I vividly remember reading as a child, and that helped me grow up. And many of those have helped me learn how to think as an individual, to express my thoughts and feelings in a clear manner, and to be proud of what I have to say. This is an awesome project tay hersh.
